Есть несколько ДВД с картинками.
Можно ли с помощью ТС сохранить как-нибудь эскизы, чтобы потом без вставляния ДВДшек можно было просмотреть картинки (что-то типа "графического" diskdir)?

На данный момент к сожалению нет. Но я надеюсь что рано или поздно такой плагин кто-нибудь напишет - просмотр кэшированных мини-изображений.
