Можно их удалять. Просто в скрипте не была закоментирована строка для создания резервной копии каждого редактируемого файла.

BTW Я только что заменил код этого скрипта. Теперь если в файле не обнаруживается то, что искали, файл остается без изменений (раньше он перезаписывался со старым содержимым, что неразумно ессно).
